In this seminar Professor Galton explored some current ideas about learning and the implications for pedagogy. His recent study reveals a great deal of uncertainty surrounding this latest Government initiative. Professor Galton suggested that what is crucial is the way that schools collectively address learning and pedagogy, recognising that the starting point is not with individualisation but rather with finding the common ground for all children.
