The Influence and Participation of Pupils in their Learning (IPiL) Project - Key Stage 3 research reports

An important part of the IPiL project was the data generated by children and young people themselves with the support of their teachers and Regional Team Leaders. They planned and carried out inquiries in their schools to illuminate and evaluate ways in which their schools supported pupil participation and enabled them to influence the conditions of their learning. These teams used a range of methods to collect data including interviews, observations, questionnaires, photographs and video. Pupils provided their schools with invaluable insights and in some cases were the catalyst for change in school policy and practice. For further information please see full report full report.
