'STUDENT LEADERSHIP IN LEARNING: making pupil/student ‘voice’ and consultation really count' Speakers include: Dr Antony Seldon - Headteacher, Wellington College and Professor John MacBeath, University of Cambridge Choice of workshops to attend (several involving pupils/students) FRIDAY, 20 JUNE 2008 (10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.) NUT Headquarters, Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, London WC1H 9BD
• enhance achievement by encouraging pupils/students to take more responsibility for their learning; FOR: school leaders, teachers and colleagues from all Key Stages; plus governors and all interested in student leadership, pupil ‘voice’, pupil/student consultation, and ‘Pupils as Researchers’. Attendance with a ‘learning partner’ encouraged. COST: £40 all applicants (£25 each if two applicants from the same workplace) FREE for NQTs and Final Yr/PGCE. Includes VAT, lunch and refreshments.
