'Supporting student participation: the HCD Student Partnership Initiative' |
|
Ros Frost (2007)
Abstract This paper reflects on some elements of the current educational context surrounding student agency and participation in English schools. It outlines why student participation is high on the current educational agenda and considers how this is beneficial to students, teachers and schools. The work of the Highest Common Denominator Student Partnership Initiative is then introduced and expanded upon. It shows how the learning and agency of students, and the adults who work with them, in our collaborative partnerships are being developed within their schools and communities. The paper concludes with an invitation to become a collaborator with the HCD initiative. To view the whole paper, please log in. |
