Leadership for Learning: the Cambridge Network (LfL) was founded in 2001 by John MacBeath, David Frost, Sue Swaffield and Kate Myers. The decision to create a network, rather than a physical leadership ‘centre’, was based on the view that although the Network has a Faculty locus and management team its main activities would be ‘out there’ among its members and associates. The management team are members of the Faculty-based academic group Leadership for Learning and, together with Faculty staff, international researchers and key policy makers, engage in activities that develop a web of collaborative knowledge creation and exchange. Associates LfL Associates are individuals who work with us on a range of research and development activities. They are typically independent professionals who have developed their expertise through substantial experience as headteachers, school inspectors, and local authority advisers. The group meet termly to share information, ideas and to learn together about leadership for learning. View our current Associates |
